Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, protect, and share information across the Auddix website, customer portal, and mobile apps for customers and cleaning crews.

Last updated: August 18, 2026

1. Who we are

Auddix Cleaning Solutions (“Auddix,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides commercial cleaning services — including recurring janitorial, office, medical and dental, retail, warehouse and industrial, post-construction, apartment-turnover, move-in/move-out, Airbnb turnover, floor care, day-porter, and emergency cleaning — together with the technology that supports them: a public website, a customer portal, and mobile apps for customers and for our cleaning crews.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to auddix.com, the customer portal, and the Auddix iOS and Android apps (together, the “Services”).

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Contact & account details — name, business/organization name, email, phone number, and the password you set. When you request a quote or book service we also collect your role and how you prefer to be contacted.
  • Facility & service details — service addresses, facility type and size, number of restrooms/offices/rooms, condition, flooring, occupancy, frequency, service level, add-ons, and the access, parking, and alarm instructions you choose to share so a crew can service your space.
  • Bookings & communications — the services you book, notes to the crew, messages you send us, service issues or re-clean requests you report, and reviews or ratings you leave.
  • Payment details — payments are processed by Stripe. Auddix does not receive or store your full card number. We retain limited billing information such as the card brand, last four digits, expiration, billing status, purchase-order numbers, and invoice history.
  • Applicant & crew information — if you apply to clean with us or work as a crew member, we collect the information you submit (contact details, work authorization confirmation, availability, experience, references, and documents) and, where applicable, employment or contractor records.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage & device data — pages viewed, features used, approximate general area derived from IP address, device and browser type, app version, and server diagnostic and error logs, used to operate, secure, and improve the Services. We do not use a third-party crash-reporting SDK in our mobile apps.
  • Cookies & similar technologies — on the website and portal, see our Cookie Policy. The mobile apps use no cookies and no analytics, advertising, or attribution SDKs; they store only your signed-in session, the application bundle, and cached content on the device.

Location

We do not collect device location. Our apps contain no location library, request no location permission, and capture no GPS, network, or background location — for customers or for crew members. Arrival and departure are recorded when a crew member taps to record them, not by sensing where a device is.

Customers see a crew’s live job status — traveling, arrived, in progress, complete — which is driven by those taps rather than by tracking. The only location-like information we hold is the service address you type in yourself, described above under Facility & service details.

If we ever add location-based arrival estimates, the app will ask for your permission first, and we will update this Policy and our App Store and Google Play disclosures before the feature ships.

Photos, media, and signatures

To document quality, our crews capture timestamped before-and-after photos and complete room-by-room checklists and inspections, and may capture an on-site signature confirming service. These are stored securely and are visible to you and to authorized Auddix staff. Please avoid placing sensitive or confidential materials in areas being photographed; ask the crew to exclude anything you don’t want documented.

3. How we use information

  • Provide quotes and estimates, bookings, scheduling, and cleaning services.
  • Operate live crew status, arrival estimates, and service tracking.
  • Process payments, deposits, recurring billing, invoices, and refunds through Stripe.
  • Document and assure quality (checklists, photos, inspections, issue resolution, re-cleans).
  • Send transactional communications by email, SMS, push, and in-app messages (see below).
  • Provide support and respond to your requests.
  • Maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, and keep audit records of sensitive actions.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
  • Improve and develop the Services.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the Services:

  • Service providers — hosting and infrastructure (Google Cloud / Firebase), payments (Stripe), address validation, mapping, and arrival estimates (Google Maps Platform), transactional email (Resend), and SMS (Twilio). They process data on our behalf under contract.
  • Your organization — if you belong to a customer organization, owners and managers of that organization can see the bookings, invoices, locations, and service records associated with it.
  • Our crews — assigned crews receive the service address, access instructions, and job details needed to perform the work.
  • Legal & safety — when required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Auddix, our customers, our crews, or the public.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

5. Mobile app permissions

The Auddix apps request only the permissions a feature needs, and you can decline or change them in your device settings. The apps do not request location, microphone, contacts, calendar, or health permissions.

  • Camera & photo library — crews use the camera for before/after job photos; customers may attach photos when reporting a service issue.
  • Notifications — for booking, arrival, payment, and service updates.

Declining a permission may limit the related feature but does not otherwise block the app.

6. Communications

We send service-related messages (confirmations, arrival updates, invoices, reminders, and support). You can manage notification preferences in your account, unsubscribe from non-essential email, and reply STOP to opt out of SMS as described in our SMS Terms. Some transactional messages are necessary to provide the Services.

7. Data retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Services and to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymize it. Short-lived operational data such as notification delivery history is retained on a limited schedule and then removed. Audit and financial records may be retained longer where required — invoices, payments, and refunds are typically kept for at least seven years.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards including encryption in transit, role-based access controls, tenant isolation so one organization cannot access another’s data, storage of mobile sessions in the device keychain or keystore, and audit logging of sensitive actions. Payments are handled by Stripe so card data never touches our servers. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can update most account information in the portal. You can permanently delete your account and personal data yourself from the Auddix mobile app under Account → Delete account; see Delete Your Account for what is removed, what we are required to keep, and how to request deletion without the app. For any other request, contact us using the details below; we may need to verify your identity, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

10. Children

The Services are intended for businesses and adults and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. International users

Auddix operates in the United States and our providers may process data there. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., you understand your information may be processed in the U.S.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice.

13. Contact us
