Cookie Policy

How we use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies across the Auddix website, portal, and apps.

Last updated: July 20, 2026

1. What these technologies are

Cookies are small files stored on your device; local storage and similar technologies work the same way. We use them to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, keep the Services secure, and understand how the Services are used. This policy explains what we use and how to control it. It works alongside our Privacy Policy.

2. Categories we use

Strictly necessary

  • Authentication — a secure, HTTP-only session cookie keeps you signed in to the customer portal and protects requests. Without it the portal cannot work.
  • Security & integrity — technologies that help prevent fraud and abuse and verify that requests come from a genuine app or browser.

Functional / preferences

  • Preferences — remembering choices such as light/dark theme.
  • Local storage — for example, saving your progress in the instant-estimate calculator so you can pick up where you left off.

Analytics

  • Usage analytics — we use privacy-conscious analytics (such as Firebase / Google Analytics) to understand which pages and features are used so we can improve them. These help us measure the quote and booking flows in aggregate.

Payments

  • Stripe — when you pay, Stripe may set cookies used for fraud prevention and to process the transaction securely. See Stripe’s privacy documentation for details.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell your information for targeted advertising.

3. Mobile apps

Our iOS and Android apps don’t use browser cookies, but they use equivalent technologies — device identifiers and analytics and app-integrity SDKs — for the same necessary, functional, and analytics purposes described above.

4. Managing cookies

Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent the portal from working (for example, you won’t stay signed in). You can also clear local storage in your browser. On mobile, you can manage analytics and tracking permissions in your device settings. Where required, we present a consent choice before setting non-essential cookies.

5. Changes

We may update this policy and will revise the date above when we do.
